Turkish Delight biscotti

 
Ingredients:
¼ cup butter
¾ cup sugar
¼ cup almond paste
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
 tsp salt
¾ cup pistachios, shelled, raw
¾ cup almonds, sliced, toasted
¾ cup YOTTI’S TURKISH DELIGHT TOTS
 
Method:
Beat together butter, sugar and almond paste until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Add flour, baking powder and salt. Blend until smooth. Fold in nuts and fruit. Divide
dough in half and shape each into a log about 3 inches wide and 3/4 inches high.
 
Bake for 25 minutes in a preheated 350 F oven. Let cool for 10 minutes, then slice
diagonally into slices. Put slices back into oven at 275 F and toast each side for
10 minutes.
